Maifan Spring is part of a larger network of water systems within the 1HA sub basin drainage system which drains into Lake Victoria. Its fresh crisp water naturally rises to the surface at the abstraction point from deep aquifers recharged by water from Nandi Escarpment. The Nandi Escarpment marks the boundary between Kisumu and Nandi counties with the North Nandi Forest to the east and the Kakamega Forest to the west. It's high annual rainfall fills the aquifers which supply Maifan Spring with its fresh crisp water all year round giving us a taste of happiness in every drop.
